Dr. LeeAnn Roberts (She/Her/Hers)

Director for Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion

Responsibilities: Collaborate with collegiate, corporate, and community partners to broaden the participation of marginalized populations and promote a cultural climate that celebrates diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging.

Professional Interests: Diversity, equity, inclusion, belonging, justice, cultural competence, intersectionality, religious and spiritual beliefs, mindfulness and meditation practices, academic success, career development, and personal branding.

Cass D’Amato (She/Her/Hers)

Responsibilities: Manages the execution, marketing, and logistics associated with Cornell Bowers CIS DEI graduate student programs, events, and services. Supports recruitment initiatives, community engagement activities, and professional development sessions for faculty and staff members.

Fun Fact: Adopted two amazing cats from the Cornell Vet School, loves anything to do with stationery, and has lived 5 different states up and down the east coast.

Carson Lopez (He/Him/His)

Responsibilities: Provides administrative assistance; maintains office communications; and manages budgetary expenses, tracking systems, and reports. Supports the execution, marketing, and logistics associated with Cornell Bowers CIS DEI undergraduate programs, events, and services.

Professional Interests: LGBTQ+, Intersectionality, Religious and Political Discourse, Behavioral Research, and Organizational Psychology.

Gwynne Richardson (She, Her, Hers)

Graduate Project Specialist/Graduate Ambassador for Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging

Responsibilities: Serve on Cornell Bowers CIS DEI committees and council meetings. Assists in the promotion, coordination, and facilitation of program, events, and services for Cornell Bowers CIS graduate students. Contributes to the research, data collection, analysis, and reporting for Cornell Bowers CIS DEI’s programs, events, and services.

Degree Program: Information Science (MPS)

Salma Hazimeh (She, Her, Hers)

Responsibilities: Assists in the design, promotion, and coordination of annual events to enhance the undergraduate experience in Cornell Bowers CIS. Maintains collaborative partnerships with student organizations to facilitate DEIB presentations and events.

Degree Program: Information Science, Sociology  

Areas of Interest: Multigenerational Workforce, First-Generation Low-Income (FGLI) Support, and Gender Equality
