Engage LEAP (LEAdership in the Professoriate) is a program designed to support the academic, professional, and personal development of doctoral students in the Ann S. Bowers College of Computing and Information Science.
What we Provide
Explore
Cornell Bowers CIS Ph.D. students will partake in a guided exploration of research fields and career options within their respective discipline(s).
Network
Doctoral students will participate in tours and off campus networking activities with leading affinity groups in the Ithaca community.
Grow
Cornell Bowers CIS DEIB will provide doctoral students resources to support their academic, professional, and personal developmental needs.

Achieve
Graduate students pursuing a doctoral degree will participate in workshops and seminars on the dissertation process and strategies to achieve their aspirations.
Globalize
Cornell Bowers CIS DEIB will encourage doctoral students to participate in a global economy and expand their sphere of influence in an international scholarly community.
Educate
LEAP participants will be offered an opportunity to submit an application to present their research (at no cost) to faculty, staff, and students across the nation.
