DEIB Ambassadors

Each academic year, the Cornell Bowers CIS Office of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion will recruit, hire, and train four undergraduate students who will serve as Ambassadors for Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging (DEIB). Administrative Assistance

Provide administrative and program support to Cornell Bowers CIS DEI staff, graduate assistants, and partners.

Facilitation of DEIB Activities

Maintain collaborative partnerships with student organizations to facilitate DEIB presentations and events.

Student Body Representation

Participate in Cornell Bowers CIS DEI councils and committees as a representative for the undergraduate student body.

Welcoming Environment

Assist in establishing a welcoming environment where everyone is respected, celebrated, and feels a sense of belonging.

Social Media Engagement

Design daily content for select social media platforms to keep the Cornell Bowers CIS community informed on the latest developments.

Promotion of DEIB Activities

Promote Cornell Bowers CIS DEI programs, events, and services throughout the campus and virtual community.
